Stellar Blade Complete Edition Gets a November Release Date on Switch 2

Stellar Blade Complete Edition Switch 2 will launch on November 6. It brings SHIFT UP’s action RPG to Nintendo’s latest system with the base game and all previously released content. The Switch 2 version will cost $59.99 in the United States. Pre-orders are also opening ahead of launch.

The Complete Edition includes the NieR and NIKKE: Goddess of Victory collaboration DLC. It also comes with additional outfits, accessories and in-game bonuses. Players will receive Stargazer costume sets for EVE, Adam and Lily. Extra equipment for EVE and the drone is included as well, alongside 2,000 SP EXP and 5,000 Gold.

That makes the Switch 2 release a strong starting point for players who have not experienced Stellar Blade before. However, SHIFT UP is also adding another collaboration at launch instead of simply repackaging the existing content.

Bayonetta Collaboration Arrives at Launch

A new Bayonetta collaboration will add four Nano Suits inspired by PlatinumGames’ series. Three outfits have already been revealed, including designs based on Bayonetta and Jeanne. The fourth suit has not been shown yet.

All four outfits will arrive as a free update on November 6. The update will be available on Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5 and PC. A new trailer also shows some of the collaboration content alongside scenes from Stellar Blade’s main story.

The collaboration gives existing players something new to return for. Switch 2 owners will also receive the content from day one.

Switch 2 Version Includes Joy-Con 2 Support

SHIFT UP is also making use of some of the Switch 2 hardware features. Joy-Con 2 motion controls will be supported during selected activities away from combat.

The main battle system remains centered around EVE’s melee attacks, dodges, parries and character progression, so the motion controls are not replacing the core controls. Instead, they act as an additional feature designed specifically for the Nintendo version.

Another detail may be even more important for physical collectors.

The retail version will contain the full game directly on the cartridge. It is not a Game-Key Card, which means players will not need to download the base game before they can start playing. With more Switch 2 releases using download-dependent physical formats, this makes the boxed edition notably more appealing.

Pre-Order Bonuses and Physical Edition Details

Pre-ordering the Switch 2 version will unlock several cosmetic items early. These include the Planet Diving Suit (White Edition), Classic Round Glasses and Ear Armor Earrings for EVE.

A limited steelbook edition featuring newly illustrated key art is also being prepared in limited quantities. Both the physical and digital editions carry the same $59.99 US price.

Stellar Blade originally built its combat around precise defensive timing, aggressive melee encounters and large boss fights, while its science-fiction story follows EVE as she returns to a devastated Earth. Switch 2 owners will now get the complete version of that adventure in a single package, alongside the newer collaboration content and Nintendo-specific control features.

Stellar Blade Complete Edition launches worldwide for Nintendo Switch 2 on November 6, 2026.
