Mind Diver is heading to Nintendo Switch 2 on August 27, bringing its unusual memory-based detective story to consoles after its PC release.
The game puts players inside the damaged memories of a woman named Lina. Rather than searching a traditional crime scene, you enter her “Mind Ocean” and try to rebuild fragmented moments from the past.
A Detective Game Built Around Broken Memories
The central mystery follows Lina and the disappearance of Sebastian. As a Mind Diver, your job is to examine conversations, objects and incomplete memories to work out what happened.
Some memories contain missing pieces that need to be restored with the correct clue. This gradually reveals new information about Lina, Sebastian and the events surrounding their relationship.
That structure gives Mind Diver a different feel from a typical investigation game. Progress comes from understanding how memories connect rather than simply collecting evidence from a physical location.
The presentation also leans heavily into its psychological setting. Characters were created using 3D scans of real Danish actors, while the story features full English voice acting.
Mind Diver Comes to Consoles After Its PC Release
Mind Diver originally launched on PC in September 2025 and has received a Very Positive user rating on Steam.
The upcoming console release will bring the game to both Nintendo Switch 2 and PlayStation 5. PLAYISM has confirmed a price of $17.99 for the new versions.
A new trailer has also been released alongside the console announcement, giving Switch 2 players a closer look at the game’s memory reconstruction mechanics and surreal environments.
For players who enjoy slower mystery games built around observation and deduction, Mind Diver is shaping up to be one of the more unusual additions to the Switch 2 library this month.
