LEGO Harry Potter Collection is officially heading to Nintendo Switch 2. Warner Bros. Games has confirmed that the collection will launch on October 16, 2026. The new release brings Harry Potter’s complete LEGO adventure to Nintendo’s latest console.
The collection includes both LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 and LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7. Together, the two games cover the story of all eight Harry Potter films. Players can follow Harry from his first year at Hogwarts to the final confrontation with Lord Voldemort.
Two LEGO Harry Potter Games in One Collection
LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 covers the first four movies in the series. These include Philosopher’s Stone, Chamber of Secrets, Prisoner of Azkaban and Goblet of Fire.
Years 5-7 continues the story with Order of the Phoenix and Half-Blood Prince. It also includes both parts of Deathly Hallows. As a result, the collection covers Harry’s entire journey through the main film series.
Gameplay mixes exploration, puzzles and the familiar humor of TT Games’ LEGO titles. Players can learn spells, brew potions and explore locations from the Wizarding World. Duels and other magical challenges also appear throughout the adventure.
The collection supports two players on a single Nintendo Switch 2 system. This allows another player to join the adventure locally.
Previously Released DLC Is Included
The Nintendo Switch 2 version also includes the previously released downloadable content.
The Character Pack adds several familiar faces. These include Godric Gryffindor, Helga Hufflepuff, Rowena Ravenclaw, Salazar Slytherin and Peeves. Alternative versions of Harry, Hermione, Ron, Luna and Lockhart are included as well.
Meanwhile, the Spell Pack adds five additional spells: Cantis, Densaugeo, Ducklifors, Melofors and Tentaclifors.
TT Games originally developed the LEGO Harry Potter titles. Double Eleven and Cast Iron Games are handling the Nintendo Switch 2 adaptation. Warner Bros. Games will publish the new version.
Nintendo’s official listing estimates the download size at 13.7 GB. The game supports TV, tabletop and handheld play modes. Save Data Cloud support through Nintendo Switch Online is also listed.
